Numerical Simulation of Soil Water Dynamics in Automated Drip Irrigated Okra Field Under Plastic Mulch

چکیده
Abstract In India, drip irrigation with plastic mulch is a common practise for that conserves water. For the design and administration of regimes, thorough understanding distribution flow soil water in root zone required. It has been demonstrated simulation models are effective tools this purpose. work, an automated drip-irrigated Okra field seven treatments namely T1- Soil moisture-based to 100% FC, T2- 80% T3- 60% T4- Timer based CWR, T5- T6- CWR T7- Conventional at were utilised mimic temporal fluctuations content using numerical model HYDRUS- 2D. With help observed data, inverse solution was used optimise hydraulic parameters. The forecast optimal conditions. Root mean square error (RMSE) coefficient determination (R2) assess congruences between predictions data. RMSE ranging from 0.036 0.067 cm3 cm- 3, MAE 0.020 0.059, R2 0.848 0.959, findings showed fairly represented differences all sites treatments.

Lint yield and seed quality response of drip irrigated cotton under various levels of water
Restricted water resources are a limiting factor for irrigation applications throughout the world. The effects of irrigation regimes (amount) on cotton lint yield are known, but there is little information on the effect of irrigation regimes on seed quality of cotton. In this study, the effects of deficit irrigation after the onset of flowering on lint yield and seed quality of cotton (Gossypiu...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Soil Temperature Under A Dormant Bermudagrass Mulch: Simulation And Measurement
The ENergy and WATer BALance (ENWATBAL) model is a mechanistic, numerical model that simulates soil water and temperature profiles, evaporation from soil, and transpiration from crops, but it does not simulate the effects of a mulch layer. Surface vegetative mulches are becoming more common, especially in reduced-tillage systems, limiting the model’s applicability. Our objective was to modify E...
متن کاملsimulation of salinity distribution in soil under drip irrigation tape with saline water using swap model
introduction: the to be limited available water amount from one side and to be increased needs of world population from the other side have caused increase of cultivation for products. for this reason, employing new irrigation ways and using new water resources like using the uncommon water (salty water, water drainage) are two main strategies for regulating water shortage conditions. on the ot...
متن کاملResponse of lateral placement depths of subsurface drip irrigation on okra (Abelmoschus esculentus)
Subsurface drip irrigation is defined as application of water below the soil surface through emitters, with discharge rates generally in the same range as surface drip irrigation. It has many advantages over surface drip. To see the response of subsurface drip irrigation on okra yield, a study was conducted at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India during 2003 and 2004. Okra (...
